NewJeans’ “Super Shy” is holding steady on the United Kingdom’s Official Singles Chart!
Back in July, NewJeans became the fastest K-pop girl group in history to debut multiple songs on the Official Singles Chart (widely regarded as the U.K. equivalent of Billboard’s Hot 100 in the United States) when “Super Shy” debuted at No. 59.
In the month and a half since, “Super Shy” has remained stable on the chart, never dropping out of the top 80 for a single week. For the week of August 17 to 23, “Super Shy” ranked No. 77, marking its sixth consecutive week on the Official Singles Chart.
Notably, NewJeans is only the third K-pop girl group ever to chart a song for six weeks on the Official Singles Chart, following BLACKPINK and FIFTY FIFTY.
